Full renovation
Moss Living carried out a full renovation to modernise this garden annexe into a self-contained apartment. The client requested a sophisticated yet industrial style space for guests to stay and enjoy.

Before & after
This out-of-date granny annexe was in need of a refurb. The brief was to modernise the space in-line with a New York loft style to accommodate guests staying for the weekend whilst future proofing the building by positioning the garden annexe as a potential holiday let when the clients come to sell the property.

A place to sleep
To save on space and to avoid the room feeling cramped, a fold-out wall bed was incorporated into the living area. It blended perfectly into the room and was finished with a cross knurl pattern handle made from solid brass.

Saving space
We installed a kitchen area with a crittal style sliding door to save space between the bathroom and living area and to allow more light to flow through.
